Hello, and welcome to our blog! My name is Kristy, and this is my daughter Rebecca. I love teaching preschool. I have the best kids in my class! Monday, Wednesday, Friday 9:00-11:30 (one year until Kindergarten)
Tuesday, Thursday 9:00-11:30 (two years until Kindergarten)
School is held at my home in Bountiful. I have a degree in Family and Human Development from Utah State University. I love young children and watching them discover new things and develop their minds. The goals of Bright Starts Preschool are to help each child love learning, gain social skills, and feel prepared to enter Kindergarten.
We stick to a pretty consistent routine which includes reading time, calendar time, counting practice, play time, learning time with a craft, snack time, story time, and singing time. Each child has a spotlight month. I invite guests from the community to visit my preschool.
We focus on learning the letters and Numbers (3 year olds), letter recognition and writing names (4-5 year olds), gaining social skills through play, following directions, and working as a group as we discover our wonderful world with a fun theme each day.
